Hi,
I modified my SL2 to an SL2x following Bruce's instructions:
"Change C5 from .001u to 680pF (tightens low end), Change C18 from NO PART to 470p (add high end)"
I couldn't find those thick gummy-bear looking capacitors (poly?) that the board has, so I used ceramic disk (high voltage, correct values). I heard those bigger style caps might be directional, is that true?
Did I use the wrong type or something?
The reason I ask is because I think it sounds great, but doesn't sound quite like any other SL2x clip I've heard. Thanks!
