what is a fair price range to sell an m4?

RM4 - Usually see 'em go $400-$450.

Dual Channel M4 - as Marco points out, seen anywhere from $600 to $800.

RM4 yes but not M4. They tend to be $600-$800. Anything less is a good deal.

as with anything it also depends on your location, mostly due to import charges. For instance in Europe, Mesa is consequently more often considered a boutique amp due to the significant increase in price
