I got a JF XTC that would not power up in my RM50. After messaging with another member here, I found out that sometimes a module will be a little too short to properly seat within a given head's connector tolerances. Opening up the head, it turned out to be a fairly simple fix so I shot a video as I modified the gap on the module connector.

Basically you remove the screws on the connector, which hold the PCB against the rear of the slot. Then you place plastic washers on the underside of the PCB for the screws to slot through. Then just screw it back down against the rear of the slot, and the slot length will be shortened by the height of the washers.

Got my new-to-me XTC operational and it's rocking!

Thanks I need to do that to mine as well. They don't go in very far on mine and I am getting some noise. I think this would fix it for me.
