help setting up my RM100 w/G-Major

im borrowing my buddies G-major and ground control pro footswitch...

question is...when i start using this,will i still need the randall 3 button?

ive tried to find out about how to hook everything up but the instruction manual doesnt say anything...

im just tryin to setup my head with some sweet lead tones and what not...

any help is greatly appreciated..

If the midichannels of both units are the same it will switch with the ground control. I use a rocktron xpression and have it in series with the RM4 , I only use the parallel loop for my korg dtr tuner.

MIDI cable out of foot controller to G-Major MIDI IN.
MIDI cable out of G-Major MIDI THRU (or OUT) to Randall RM100 Midi IN.

Set your presets and then save your channels on the RM100 (press the button and hold it in till it saves).

Simple.

till now saving presets isn't working on my RM4 , only push the midibutton for a while till it saves the preset. don't know what I'm doing wrong ?
