Wow....I kept hearing a high pitched whistle coming faintly from one of my RM100s...I first checked all the usual suspects, cables, connections, then onto amp tubes and basic innards, finally finding the solution in the module V1tube of a module that I didn't even suspect and wasn't even experiencing the "whistle" effect....Weird....Just shows with these things that you gotta check everything once in a while or weird **** like this happens....I swapped a new tube in and now nothing but tone and the usual noises...I cleaned out my module slots as well just to be safe...
There is no moral of the story short of you gotta be willing to dig at issues to fix them...The hum could easily be eaten by my decimator but that ain't the point...At their very core these are great amps prone to odd issues...
Anyone else got a haunted amp?
