Jaded Faith's Ultra Mod

Stay tuned, I'm going to post clips of the ultra mod by Jaded Faith!

It's very articulate, and the bass and mid switches add such a nice touch to the tone! It's amazing.

Here's what we got:
0:00-1:07 is a bunch of w/e riffs.
1:08-1:40 is an old song my band made.
1:41-2:20 more bulls#it
2:20-3:00 is A Certain Death by Misery Signals
3:01-3:40 more BS
3:40- is with the bass switch down. (Looser)

Settings were : 1:00 Gain, 1:00 Bass, 12:00 Mids, 2:00 Treble, Level at 10:00 and Master at 9:00

The Bass switch was in the middle. (Tightest setting)
Mid switch was in the down position.

Now i noticed i really gotta work on my playing Confused

Yeah man, +1 on this...I believe I was one of the first guys to own this beast, and it is indeed one of the best modules I've owned. Awesome for any high gain stuff. Please post your clips (just so I can make sure yours doesnt sound better than mine) :wink:

Sounds great..it kind of still has that 'buried' sound that an Ultra has..but tight playing and module...you can really tell.

I wonder if it could be improved by changing mic position slightly...

I'm sure it could.... i have no mic stand so i use my guitar stand...

I was slightly disappointed by the results of the recording but it's also coming out of an RM100 so you don't get the full effect until its cranked. Sorry guys i can't put out a better sample yet.




But if someone wants to send me a mic stand

Mine sounds HUGE! Hard to realize it in any clips. But when standing in front of that 4X12 and its Cranked....WOW. Very super brutal tone.
