I've been having issues with my Deluxe for clean tone so I decided to turn down the gain on my JTM. It sounds really good. I can go from a fat clean tone to some SRV dirt. With the gain down and the master, it really sounds good. I may need to get another JTM as my regular clean.

I am a big fan of my Egnater single channel DLX for clean and mild grit. Granted, I haven't tried the other clean modules but the DLX sounds great to me.

I'm using my Deluxe as clean for now. Settings:

Bass: off or 0
Mids: 3:00
Treble: 1:30
Gain: 11:00
Bright: off

Basically the way you set up a Deluxe amp. These are made for a Strat being played in the 4 position on the switch (neck/middle).

I've got the JTM too. It's a little different animal in that it breaks up a lot earlier.

Vaughn? Depends upon which SRV. There's SRV Texas Flood (ultra clean), then there's some with a little grit with the heavy picking, then there's the DOS tone, and the Marshall tone, and the Tremoverb, Vibrolux, etc.
