kinda stupid amp question...

any one know of a good site or forum that talks in depth about sounds of different amps. you know. like what the frequiency characteristsics of differemt amps like the 5150, JCM800, Diezel, Dual rec etc... i am interested to see how my opinions (some from little experience & some from in depth use) of amps would vary with people who know alot more than i do.

Rig Talk is a decent resource for that sort of thing. As with any forum it is cyclical and generally revolves around Andersons, Suhrs, Charvels, Fortin amps and mods, Diezels, Bogners, Boogies, and ridiculous rack systems. There has been a recent influx of new folks from HCAF and therefore a lot more posts about 5150s, Engls, Dual Recs, etc. Look up some of the amps that interest you in the search function and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
