KT77/E34L combo?

I am gonna try running 2 E34L and 2 KT77....opinions?

Aren't the KT77's supposed to be a balance of el34 and 6l6? I haven't heard them, but am curious about them.

you benefit more from running 6L6's and EL34's...or just all KT77's.

it sounds like you re into el34 tone from your choice option. kt-77 are very clean and don't sound good at all with heavier modules imo. they would do fine for the clean modules. for el34 type tone with the bass presence of a 6l6 i'd go for kt-88, its basically a really heavy duty el34 like a 6550 which is a heavier version of a 6l6.

What kind of sound are you going to get with this combo? I love my new EVH 5150III sound, which are all 6L6

you get the best of both worlds...el34 tone and 6L6 tone.

i prefer all 6L6's myself.

yes, try out EL34/6L6, sounds great! Especially with the Treadplate-Mod imo. A friend of mine uses this combi in his RM.

I am running a KT77/88 combination in my RM100 Head. Its an absolute
great crushing tone with the Grail an Scary-Mod.
