Modern Module - voicing / amp basis?

I'm sure this has been asked before but a search yields way too many results.

What amp is this based on, it kinda sounds like an ENGL to me... ?

I hear what others have been saying about it sounding quiet compared with other high gainers too....had to up the level 2 notches compared with Mr Scary or 3 against the SL+

I think it is a Randall original, not based on anything.

But I could be wrong.

You are correct. The Modern, Ultra, Ultra Lead, Ultra XL, and Clean are all original modules.
