My amps crappin out again...

Everythings sounds great untill I hit the G string. All the other strings sound clear. Hit the G and instant trash...distortion, ghost freq's, nasty. Way more than the usuall G twang and it's all the notes! When I hit the same notes on the other strings they sound clear. What could cause this? I'm thinking something in the amp sympathetic to the freq's of the g string since it's so distinct in tone. Either way the amps unplayable and i'm not a happy randall owner... again.

+1. Sounds more like a guitar issue than an amp issue to me. Did you switch pickups on the guitar?

Yes I tried the guitar on my other amp and it's fine. Also switched out every tube in the amp. Pre and power...no change. I'm taking it to a tech -AGAIN->last time. I don't trust this amp anymore but I have to admit it sounds great when it's not busted.

Any of your control nobs sticking? Maybe using some contact cleaner could work out any controls that could be stuck in "high frequency"
