Need help, sound guy recorded last nite,

Hey guy's, I need some help on the recording the sound guy made last ngiht at our gig. I have been raving to you about my tone which a tone of people love. He recorded the whole thing into one track. I want to edit the track he gave us and put it up on our page so you can hear my real tone w/ both modules.

This is what i sound like, not like our recordings on my bands site. So all help is appreciated.

Do you know how he recorded it?

If he recorded separate tracks of each instrument in parallel then you should be able to just ask for the guitar tracks (i.e. using a multitracker or interface into laptop)

If he used the bus, the same situation may apply although it depends how he's got his channels grouped on the desk

If he used the master outputs of the desk (i.e. the desk mix) as the recording source then the answer is that you won't be able to separate the guitar from the recording
