Okay, so Mr. Salvation is cutting me a deal for guessing in his contest.

What should I have him come up with for me?


I was thinking Bogner Fish Brown channel, with Fish-cosmetics, blue/green, white chickenhead knobs, etc.


Or,

VHT GP-3 Lead channel, satin aluminum face, smooth satin silver knobs, green LED

:lol: about Brown Fish we already talked with salvation, this is in second line of "wanted", fish cosmetics I wanted to use for my XTC upgrade :wink:

Lulz I figured. It's arguably one of the best pre's on the market. My only other guess would have been a Soldano X88R. You getting one of the reissues?

PS-Out of curiosity what is he using as the basis for the CAE? Ultra XL? XTC?

I'm thinking that would require some serious jumping or another board that is designed for a pregain tone stack, like the Egnater COD?

Actually, even a clean module might be more suited to this task.
