New Clips with SL2 and VX with band

So first off these were recorded on our first or second time through the songs. Wolfgang Special on both songs, mic was a e609 Silver draped over the combo. Speaker is a CL80 which is probably not broken in yet.

Clip 1 is A channel on SL2.

So far so good. Still working on getting everything dialed. I love the sound of the B channel on the VX. Can nail Foo Fighters DOA tone along with some others. Just not quite as crunchy as the A channel on the SL2.

Man I didnt know channel A of SL2 had that much gain! Christ, I thought E-Rect was only other high gain module I was interested in... now maybe I need an SL2 as well!

Good stuff ned. Thanks for probably costing me another $400 :wink:

The B channel on the VX has a ton of gain too just not crunchy like the A on the SL.

Thanks. Also remember each of these clips was done with a Wolfgang. Wolfies don't do clean very well. So if played these same settings with my SG they would have less gain.
