Of course, the "modders" can and will continue. There is no legal, ethical or logical reason that I would want to interfere with the custom guys. That is really how most of us started out. We modified other peoples stuff and eventually came up with our own way of doing things. Why would I object to that? I'm flattered that people have found the modules to be so cool and easy for modifying. I've heard some of their mods and they are great. Of course, there would be an issue with someone actually copying and manufacturing new modules and selling them. That would be an infringement. Modifying old, current or future stuff is very cool and I'm glad there are people making money and keeping it alive during the "modular hiatus".
