Newbie Dummy, help please..

Hello!
Just picked up a Syn50 amp.
I have TWO 2x12 cabinets (each with the ability to run at 4, 8, or 16ohm)
I don’t know which to select on the amp!!
I’ve only ever run a single cab…I can handle that complex equation
If I plug into 16 on each cab…should the syn50 have 16 selected? 8?….
I just don’t want to stress or blow the amp, thanks!

Two 8 ohm cabs would equal a 4 ohm load. Set amp to 4 ohms, two 16 ohm cabs equal 8 ohms, set amp to 8 ohms. Not sure what kind of cabs you are running but usually cabs with different inputs means it can run in mono or stereo. You want to run the cabs in mono.
