Hey guys, I've decided I want to add a 2 or 3 channel rack amp for my setup. I have next to no knowledge around mts amps, but I do own a RM100 combo.

Amp needs to be clearest audio signal possible, even modded for extra clarity. Use will be primarily for front end to recording DAW to run through impulse responses or other software.

Rm100 works good but IMO could be higher quality signal, plus I want something I can have beside me.

Built in Reverb would be fun even if it's not the best.

So what would be obvious for me?

Not sure I understand your post....Are you looking for module suggestions? Or power amp suggestions?

If it's a power amp you want, check into the Randall RT2/50....For my money, it's the best value around and VERY good quality...If you are just looking to tighten up your Rm100 combo - you could try different power tubes as they'll make a difference in tone as well as perhaps some EQ options? Preamp tube V1 has a big effect on your modules as well and is worth experimenting with...

If you can clarify your post abit, I'd be happy to help....

Looking at your post I think you'll want an RM4 or M4.
They are the same inside.

For the best clarity and definition look towards modded modules.
What type of tones are you after? (what amp sounds?)

Yea, thx I didn't mean modules, I have a few now and some modded ones too. So yea just a amp for my modules that doesn't need to drive speakers if that exists.

I wasn't sure if there was any difference between the RM4 or M4 thx I'll look at those.

So you mean a pre-amp without poweramp ;)
Than the RM4 is for you!
