I'm talking popular music here, not instrumental jam songs ( not Cliffs Of Dover, Attitude Song, etc.)
I'll set the example.....
Rainbow - Can't Happen Here (Ritchie Blackmore)
Pretenders - Kid (James Honeyman Scott)
KISS - Love Her All I Can (Ace Frehley)
Dokken - In My Dreams (George Lynch)
Foreigner - Hot Blooded (Mick Jones)
These are songs that have made me run stop lights, forget to make a turn and miss my street or sometimes forget I'm in public. (air guitar in the car)
some others might be ....
John Waite - Change (Neil Geraldo)
Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven (???? )
Judas Priest - Delivering The Goods (Glen Tipton)
Fleetwod Mac - You Make Lovin' Fun (Lyndsey Buckingham)
UFO - Hot 'n' Ready (Michael Schenker)
Rush - Limelight (Alex Lifeson)
If it was playing on the radio regularly, I'd include:
Frank Zappa - Son Of Orange County (live version)
King Crimson - Elephant Talk (Belew & Fripp)
Yes - Release Release (Steve Howe)
The point of this thread is to share lead guitar solos that you may have missed, But it's good stuff.
So...tell me some of your favorites.
Don't be shy!
