(R)M-4s - which tubes/ valves do you use and where?

I'm curious which brands, types and ratings of pre-amp tubes you guys use for your modular pre-amps. Anyone special for a certain module? Any info of value and no value welcome!

Let me clearify: there is (or used to be (?)) a loop in the (R)M-4 and apart from the modules it holds three 12A?7 valves of which one or two of these drive the loop. Here you got a choice which valves you want to go with in terms of gain and dynamics.
