I have been using my Axe Fx with my RM50 for a while, but find myself using just the Axe through the power amp more and more.


I also just bought another Axe Fx, so my modular stuff is on the block.





Randall RM50 head. Palomino. Does not have the Randall footswitch, but I am including a single button footswitch that works great for switching channels. RFT ecc83 in v1, 6L6 power tubes. They are either SED or Ruby....need to double check that.

Randall SL+ modded by Sacred Groove (this is the BEST Marshall tone I have played). Face plate it black with Marshall knobs. Here is the description:

It has two swtiches, one that controls the base/ tight, and the other switch lets you choose between the sl+/ or the JCM800, and also includes a custom faceplate and marshall knobs.



Oya, the switch on the right side gives you the opion to choose between the Sl+ sound or the jcm800 sound if you want. Its basically having two modules in one



This is a cool module. Very versatile. I'll never get rid of mine.

JCM800 mode--boost with OD pedal (MXR Wylde). Keep gain at 12-1 o'clock.
SL+ stock--turn boost off and switch to stock mode for plexi-type mid gain tones.

Just curious...

Are you using the Axe Fx onstage?

If so, what are you using (power amp) to push your rig's speakers.

Or are you not using a cabinet for stage monitoring?

Ok just to clarify, yours is the Hairy BLACK Eye, not the Hairy BROWN Eye, and the Black eye has a bit more gain than the Brown eye, correct?
