RM100 module question

Im looking at getting a RM100 but I don't have $1600 sitting around. I have enough for the amp and maybe 2 modules. I already have a avatar cab that i can use. Will this head work if it doesn't have 3 preamp modules in it?

Yes, it works just fine. All you need is at least 1 module.

man dont spend that much, go on ebay you can usually get them loaded with 3 modules for less than $1000 I got mine with no modules for only 599 shipped.
