I picked up an RM20 and have a question about the ext speaker jack. I plugged ina 2X12 and got nothing. I switched the front panel switch to silent and the 12 in the RM20 turned off and the2X12 came on. Is this normal? Is there a way to get both going?
thanks in advance

That was the way my RM20 combo worked. I don't think you can run the internal speaker and extension cab at the same time.

Cool. I also have some other questions if you don't mind(or any other RM20 owners can chime in here...)
The way the boost works is kind of cool. However, there is no real master volume, so you have to use the module's volume.
How high did you run the volume on it? It is such a loud little sucker that I can't run the module volume much past 3:00. Was that your experience?
I thought that maybe I could use the boost as the master volume....sort of.

You are right about it being pretty darn loud. I found there was two ways to use the boost function. I way was to turn the gain all or most of the way up and adjust the boost volume so it matched the amp volume with the boost off. The other way was just turn the gain up a little so it worked more like a clean boost. My biggest gripe with my RM20 combo and head were that I almost always had to turn the density all the way off and the bass on the module most of the way off because the were so flubby sounding.Just too much bass.
