I just sold an RM80 chassis. I pulled it from my RM80 combo.
I was thinking about keeping it around as an option for my RM50 head but don't really think I'll use it.
When I got the RM80, it was slightly damaged in the grill and front baffle.
I rebuilt the baffle with high quality 1" plywood replacing the 3/4" original. I had access to this from my work (hard to find and VERY expensive)
I program CNC woodworking machines, so it was done very well and the speakers are inset 1/4".
I covered it with black jute grill cloth just like Mesa Recto cabs.
I also added reinforcing pieces for the rear baffle and removable casters.
Each speaker has separate cable so you can use either one or both.
The results are much better sounding (and looking) than stock. The low end is tighter and less resonant.
I have two Eminence speakers in it now, a Redcoat Wizard and a Patriot Swamp Thang...nice combination.
I do have other speakers I could put in.
(also have Randall logo)
$325 Shipped with paypal gift ***SOLD***
I will sell unloaded too.
