RT2 50 Fan?

Anyway to make the fan on this sucker quiter? its so dang loud

80mm.. 90.. 120..

or is it a small one?

im currently in the mix of getting myself one soon. you like it other than the fan?

I am thinking something may be wrong with the one I got, the fan is too loud for any recording, but I think it could be fixed, bout to take it to a warranty center, will post more later..

I like it other then the loudness of the fan

Randall's support was very good today, Got back with me right away, thank you


per their suggestion, I took it to an authorized repair service in my town. The service guy agreed taht the fan noise is un-usable for any type of recording and small venue's. I think there is something wrong. So he ordered a new fan and we shall see in a week I guess.

other then that, and it running very hot, the features and sound is great.

Just wanted to follow up with this post. I got a new fan shipped from randall, and the tech installed it, and I think did some mojo to the fan to make it even quiter, and now this is VERY quite, can't barely hear the fan running at all, huge change, me happy.

I have read about randall not having good support, but I think something has changed for the better, and wanted to duly note that I have received excellent, fast service! Amp sounds good.

I want to add that when I wanted to try a Randall..they returned my call the next day and found out where I could hear the exact rig I was interested in.
I think they do a great job. I know others have other stories, but this is my one experience with randall..and so far, I'm impressed.
