Sweet, how did you record it? (what mikes, guitar, volume level, cabs, any post prod effects, etc)

That sounds really quite aggressive and nice..would never have guessed that was via a speaker sim...sounds kinda like a Mr Scary with something else mixed in.

Nice playing too

Sounds killa!

That speaker emulation sounds pretty dang good, like there is even some room interaction. is there a link to that software you could provide?

nice sounding module man. Very intersted in your work

some compromising pixs from playing :)

Soldano from Salvation is really nice and has wide sound possibilities.
I played with my RGX TT neck pickup for light crunch and sounded like "hot SRV" :)
OD has recto taste for me, but very articulate and no buzz. So really good job.

Orange is sweet, very thick clean and specific crunch (not for everybody :) but I like it. Next sound clips will be soon.

Little help?

EDIT-I'm a tard and followed the link from the quote instead of the OP. Disregard this moronic post.

couple of tech info about salvation soldano
- definitely is not nice playing ;) next time will be better (like everytime, no time to training etc, bla, bla :)
- first riff is crunch, second OD and third crunch again (with volume knob on guitar roll down a bit)
- guitar is cheap Yamaha RGX520FZ
- we used Line Out from RM20 go to soundcard (Line6 guitarport) and SIR2 plugin for cab "simulation" (impuls was Mesa Traditional with SM57)
- On the pics is my Brother-Shredder Pedro DeLuxe, not me :) I?m mostly rhythm and acoustic player
- this week I?ll prepare next clips, riffs, 7strings etc.....

and explanation of SIR method:
it's not a speaker simulation, S.I.R. is just one of many so called convolution reverbs that use impulse response taken in a given room to re-create the sound of that room in your computer
but the possibilities are much wider - and you can use impulses of the speakers too...
with an impulse response you basically apply "the sound colourization" of (someone's) gear to your raw preamp signal - that means speaker, mic and also the sound of the power amp that was used during the process of creating this impulse.

Hey, Congrats to Salvation Mods. Im really stoked about your work on the soldano like tone, its just awesome!

The Orange module sounds quite good (I used to own a 1960s OR120)..
but at the end of the clip we hear some very distorted playing..is that also the Orange module? is there a pedal involved?
