So are the heads really that bad? Im considering about buying one but I've been seeing all of these people saying they are hearing weird noises coming from the RH300 G3 and matching cab.... is it worth my time and money?

Firstly i'd like to comment that a few players don't even know what impedance means and different cables. I mean how can u have an opinion about sound if you don't even know how to connect it?
Secondly the RH150G3 is a killer if you really like a heavy sound (metal).
But do you want 300 watt amp? i play 150 and it's loud as a mofo. Just place a mic in front of it > p.a and your done! I am playing at medium size venues and it really delivers! But check out some cab's because it really makes a huge difference. Also location/room size is a factor that can really influence your overall sound.

I have the 150 and it's the best amp I've ever had. I ditched a Mesa Boogie rack setup for it.
I started running it into a Marshall cab, and was getting the horrible bassy buzz a lot of people report, but I picked up a randall 4 x 12 and it's absoloutely perfect now. No farts or buzzes whatsoever.

300 Watts is a lot of unused power. 150 Watts is plenty of power unless you are going to be playing Arenas and outdoor festivals. Hahaha.

I have an RH150G3 and it's loud. I live in a pretty rural area and I can make neighbors call the cops when I crank it up even just a 'lil. It's worth it.

Well you're right,if you're not going to play large arena shows,300 watts maybe are too much.
But I've got a RH300G3 PLUS and I'm reall happy about it.And since I play metal,I'll never admit tht 300 watts of power are too much!
:D
Interesting news about the cabs, maybe I must sell my old Marshall 1960 to get an XL series!
