using mfx with rm4

I cant get the effects to sound.I've hooked it up to parallel loop,checked the mix levels...nothing hooked up to series loop,checked the mix levels...nothing what's going on?

What multifx unit? For the record most multifx units should be used in the serial loop. Parallel is more for time based fx. Your modulation fx will not work properly if used in parallel.
