Just tried Vox Satchurator with my new RM20BP.
I'm using an unmodded XTC module, a Jeff Beck signature Strat and a Peavey Wolfgang.
Using the Satchurator with any kind of preamp distortion sounded terrible and added lots of noise.(even picked up radio signals) It worked best with clean settings, Gain knob all the way down. I wasn't happy with the Wolfgang and the Saturator, since it sounded too thin for anything aggressive. I think you'd be better off with something higher gain, like Boss Metalzone for this kind of setup. The Strat however, sounded really great. Crunchy, Bright sound with lots of harmonics- perfect for rhythm stuff.
Just thought I'd share in case someone's shopping for a distortion pedal.

Gain snobs, huh? :)
Not recommending the metalzone, just saying you'd be better off with metal distortion boxes, if that's the sound you're going for. The Satchurator, which I already owned before buying the RM20, doesn't have ton of gain.
Come on, I can't be the only one who tries every existing pedal with every possible setup after buying a new amp

The last box I bought was a Fulltone Full Drive.
I used it at gigs sometimes for adding a touch more gain to my "not-so-distorted" rhythm channel.
Otherwise, the SL+ and/or the XTC have plenty of gain for me. :)
