Am aiming to get an RM50 and fill it 2 modules which can replicate a CAA OD100se amp.
I'm looking for glassy clean with headroom and a Hi gain channel to go from Steve Stevens to almost Metal/Shred.
Just wanna make sure the tone is thick on the hi gain side.

Custom modded options are welcome too.
Am very new to this module series and all the options and modders are a bit daunting.

Am thinking a Dave Friedman modded Lynch module might be what i need.
Please guide me in the right direction.

Thanks

I dont know about the CAA OD100se *specifically*, but I know Anthony from Salvation offers a Custom 3, which is based on the CAE3 http://www.salvationmods.com/modifications/custom-3

If you are looking for a specific amp voicing, I believe any of the top modders (Jaded Faith, Gigmods, Salvation) will work with you to get a module voiced after that amp. I'm listening to CAA OD100 clips on YouTube right now to see if I can make a more specific module suggestion to fit what it is youre looking for.

The Salvation Twinface and the Salvation Custom 3 will get you **** close. Keep in mind the OD100SE is a 100 watt amp with 5881 tubes. So your 50 watt MTS combo won't have the same headroom, but you can use the 5881 tubes in there.
When I was a Suhr dealer I had a guy come in with his Marshall Plexi, 4x12 and his favorite overdrive pedal to compare to the OD100 Classic Plus. The OD100 ate it for breakfast!
Cheers,
Jace

Ok, got the reply from David Friedman:

"Blackface clean, plexi with a mod on it and the sl+ with a mod. The mods are the brown eye and the HBE.
JJ el34 tubes."

According to him, this will get you close to the OD100 tones.

I've had a lot of Friedman stuff..great aggressive tones...

The odd thing is, once you get into high gain territory, many modules can get you in the ballpark.

I've heard tones out of the CAA stuff (I'm thinking Mark Day's super gainy) tones that I swear I could match with my Angel module....

On the website that state that the OD100SE+ is based on the SE+ preamp.
So i wonder how related the OD100SE is to that preamp.

I'm sure an adaption of the Custom 3 would do it!
