Here's my new mod. This one in particular is for MattFig. I'm using him as a guinea pig, so I'll be building another one slightly different for him to compare too. In addition to the switchable features the LED is also red or blue, depending on the mode selected.

Sorry, didn't have time to make clips yet.

Anyone interested in having this done to their XTC (or any Marshall module) you can PM here or email me at [email protected]. 8)

Looks awesome. I love the concept.

Would love to hear clips of this against the stock XTC

It looks, but importantly sounds, AWESOME!

Great work once again, Dude!

OK, no joke...This module is awesome...By this time I'm sure most understand if it wasn't, it would already be in the classifieds... :) Sad, but true...

To describe it...Hmmmm....Very much the BEST XTC modification I've ever heard...I've owned almost everyone's at some point...(Granted the new Salvo one sounds like a winner as well)....But this one stays in the Rack of Delight....It's got great tone and is much more aggressive than I expected...The aggression can be dialed back to be much more calm but the diversity is there...The high gain red channel easily has as much gain as my Angel....It doesn't sound like them necessarily (although it's similar) and it's very articulate and responsive...Great for both leads and chugging away...

I'm still getting familiar with it but all the toggles make cool changes...The Plexi toggle is a nice surprise too...Adds a different twist to the XTC tone...The color changing LED from Red to Blue is a cool little look too...The faceplate is great, the work is perfect, the tone and design are top notch and Scott is the coolest guy to deal with...

Thanks Scott!

I would heavily suggest this module to anyone chasing the XTC tone...To me, the stock one always stunk - but I know many really like it...This one will make both sides happy...

Everything is clicking here on this one...It also takes pedals well, if that matters to you...

Bottom line = Get One!!! You won't be sorry....It's the most comprehensive XTC ever made...That is aside from the real thing...:)

so what is structure? gain structure? low/high (r/l)gain settings?
also, is there room for a bass-tight switch?
Or should it be labeled tighter? :)

Yes, the Structure is a gain boost. A Tight switch would be pure luxury, maybe overkill, although could be added. The Blue mode with Structure engaged is pretty tight, but then switching to Red mode is like bringing nothing less than a knockout punch.

The Bright switch is still effective in Blue mode, as well.
