Something Corium_AZ said in the favorite mods thread made me wonder... what other amps do you have?

Along with my RM50 and M4, I currently have a Friedman Smallbox. It has me really rethinking my module purchases these days. I'm a Marshall guy and this thing really covers most of what I'm looking for in that tone. If I pick up a decent enough pedal to push it into the HBE territory I can't see myself getting any more of these type modules.

That be said, I don't think I'll ever get rid of any of my modules, LOL. I love my MTS rigs. My next purchases will be directed to the Vox and Fender side of things, I think.

As far as future amps for me... a power amp for the M4 and definitely gonna need some more cabs. If only someone would distract the wife while I sneak them in

EVH 5250iii, Marshall DSL100, and the almighty Paul Reed Smith Archon.

I like to play.

Bass.

I only play bass in a band right now. 23 is a weird age....

I bought a couple other amps since getting my MTS rig, I doubt I would've started collecting them if I didn't collect mods first.

The first RM50HB I bought on ebay came with a Clean and UltraXL. Didn't really dig the UXL and traded it for a JF Top Boost here. Then a Voxless popped up at a good price so I snagged that too. When Vox closed out the original Night Train amps and put out a $200 rebate on the NT50H head, Musicians Friend had it on sale for $500 plus the rebate. At $300, I just did the math on adding a Vox head compared to a new module and grabbed it.

I ended up buying an RM4 new in the box out of the classifieds here and trading the RM50HB for an SL+, Mr Scary, and Mark X. I really dug the Mr Scary, and started looking at Soldano designs. When Musicians Friend had a closeout sale on the Jet City 50 combo for $350, again I did the math on a Soldano designed head versus a new module and picked it up too.

So I have the RM4 feeding my old Mesa/Boogie 395 Simul-Class power amp sitting on top of a Randall R412CB75 stereo cab.
I picked up a Randall RV112GBBH off Amazon, and stack the Jet City 50 5881 combo on it.
My latest addition is a custom pine convertible cabinet with 2x10 and 1x12 baffles that the Night Train 50 EL34 head rests on. Loving the 2x10 fed by any of the amps.

It wasn't meant to happen. I just hate selling stuff! :)

Have a few old photos from before I moved. This forum doesn't do attachments, so I uploaded them to imgur. This should work: http://imgur.com/a/DKqlW

I've got a new room now and I'm trying to get it all organised into a silent recording rig, a wet-dry-wet rig and a LOT of racking and shelving.

At the moment the amp I want is always on the bottom of the stack at the back of the pile...

After doing some serious housecleaning I'm down to just my MTS units and my Jet City JCA20H...love that little amp.

Damn dude! lol

I have a Splawn Quickrod w/4x12, and 5150 combo.

I use a Soldano SP77 / Mesa 50/50. I like the Mesa but the Soldano will be sold as soon as I find an RM4 I like.

Salvation has a new module based on the X88 that sounds exactly like it! Clean channel and all! You can preorder through us at www.motorcitymods.com

Thanks,

Goldtop! That's some serious habit you have there, wouldn't know where to begin when choosing an amp, other than that I'm as envious as I can possibly be.
