I see alot of recommendations for the Mark X for Metallica stuff and just wanted to see what others think about the Erect for Metallica stuff. I was playing tonight and using the Vintage/Loose/Red seemed to be really close for Orion, MOP, Sanitarium, Seek and Destroye etc... Gain about 3:00...

Are they the same ohm rating? I was using 2 cabs for a while, a 4 and an 8 ohm. One was definitely louder than the other.

BTW, I realized tonight that running 2 cabs, a Carvin 4x12 with V30s and G12t75s and a Randall 2x12 with Eminence OEMs was ruining the highs in my tone, making it overly sizzly and nasty. Took the 2x12 out of the mix and really seems smoother but keeps that raw sound I like. Very happy now.

I grabbed a logo from Caine on here quite a while ago but don't see them up for sale very often. I'm actually thinking about replacing the badges on my amp and cab with Jaded Faith ones he sells on his website. I'll have them soon and decide when they get here.

Holy hell that's a good price!! The tolex Randall uses as far as I can tell is the same as Mesa, texture is called Taurus. You can get it anywhere, just generic stuff. Google search will turn up all the results you'd ever want. Same with the grill material, google what you want to put on there...
