    RM50 combo speaker change?

I have a RM50B combo as well. I swapped out the T75 with a V30 because it had too much lumpy bottom end in my practice space that I couldn't EQ out. There is still a lot of bottom in it now (I turn the bass down to about 9 o'clock) but it much more manageable. Also, I noticed the V30 has a much...

    RM50 Effects Loop

I run my PODxt in the effects loop of my RM50B (reverb) with no troubles. I actually use it to lower the pre-amp volume so I can push the power tubes a little more at lower volumes. But if I turn up the POD output it would return to 100% volume.

    Clean module - ANYTHING Near a JC120?

It's going to hard to match that amp since as mentioned it is solid state and has a particular edgy non-tube sound to it. But, a lot of its tone is from the built in stereo chorus, which can be emulated. For clean modules most people mention the Blackface. I use my Plexi, which is not 100%...

    Module suggestions

Sound samples are here (not mine): http://www.bandslink.com/randall.htm Also check out the Mr. Scary for that Soldano late 80's shredder tone. Maybe the Ultra too, although I don't know the differences between that and the XL version. I have the XTC and it might be a little thick and dark for...
