From reading the ultimate tone series of books from london power I think that what you are talking about is a standard master volume design. Depending on where the master volume is in the signal change it can have a completely different sound. for example if it is after a stage coupling cap it...

There is a good posibility I will be selling my ultra lead, and my recto. I might be interested in trades as well. I will have to see what I see with the Egnater that I might be picking up. :D

Cool thanks for the info. The main thing that I noticed about the ultra lead is that it has a lot of mids. Which is cool, but so far I don't think that I like either the ultra lead, or the recto modules very much. I might be picking up an egnater M4, one of the older ones with single channel...

I haven't been able to find much info about this module. Searching the net hasn't come up with much either. I take it that this is a rare module. I am thinking about selling my randall modules because I have a line on a good deal on some egnater modules. What does the ultra lead, and recto...
