What can you tell me about the Ultra Lead??

I haven't been able to find much info about this module. Searching the net hasn't come up with much either. I take it that this is a rare module.

I am thinking about selling my randall modules because I have a line on a good deal on some egnater modules. What does the ultra lead, and recto modules sell for??

I guess not much...
on the bay there was an ultra lead and it was going for about 75 $ and that was here in germany !
I traded mine for a Pete modded XTC
STRIKE !

But if you have an UltraXL... I need one !

Ultra Lead is nothing like the other Ultra modules IMO.
Its discontinued and is known for its killing smooth lead type stuff.

Cool thanks for the info. The main thing that I noticed about the ultra lead is that it has a lot of mids. Which is cool, but so far I don't think that I like either the ultra lead, or the recto modules very much.

I might be picking up an egnater M4, one of the older ones with single channel modules. It comes with 2 bmans, 1 twin, and 1 JTM45. I think that will give me a better idea of the modular amps.

Funny..I can actually use my Ultra Lead as a rhythm module with one of my setups...I think it's all in the cab.

Although it has a ton of mids, if you pick agressively and/or have active PUs it works...heck a $50 SD-1 couldn't hurt either.....everyone should have a Tubscreamer pedal around

...but I think it's in the cab..my 2x12 setup has WGS Veteran 30 and ET-65.....it sounds awesome...maybe some of the grit will go away as they break in but probably not much change.

I'm sure I must have modded c3 in my Ultra Lead tho' and of course changed the tubes (might even be an RFT in v1...would have to check.)

There is a good posibility I will be selling my ultra lead, and my recto. I might be interested in trades as well. I will have to see what I see with the Egnater that I might be picking up.
