Bagoun - My first guess would be a heat-related power supply issue. Just about any repair service ought to be able to check that for you.

A guitar question: Most of the players I know run their guitar volume all the way up (to 11) most of the time. Some guys leave it up ALL the time and use pedals, boosters, etc. to change levels. I'm running my RM4 into a 20/20 and I like it alot. I may do the "deepend" mod - but I've never had a problem. The biggest negative for me is that it's so loud - even at only 20 watts. I end up turning it down to 50-70%.

Looking for used T/D, E5, VX, etc.

Is that all? My footswitch worked right out of the box w/o setup. I suppose you could have switch 2 activate amp 3, etc. But why would anyone want to do that? :) Thanks

But that doesn't give a way to control the overall output to the pwr amp/spkrs that doesn't change the level being sent to the FX. Setting good levels isn't a problem. I understand good gain structure, etc. The question is, how to adjust the level to the prw amp without disturbing the gain...
