    Good call, all mods should be used. If not digging them they should be sent off to be modded or flipped. But still would dig a bag for carrying them around. Lol

    Oh, put the amps on the floor!

    I'm glad I found this thread. Was thinking about getting one of those amp stands. For Hana's I put the amp on a sturdy table to try it up higher. Sounds much better on the floor. Thanks - saved me from buying something I wouldn't use.

    First two modules

    I was in a similar situation when I got my rm50c. My first 3 stock modules were a kh1, kh2' and a kh3. I send both the kh2 and the kh3 to Rob to be modded (1 as a kh23 so I can toggle between a kh2 and a kh3' the other became a mark X.). Both are awesome mods. I kept the kh1 stock, it takes...

    6550 tubes

    I just want to add that the tungsol 5881 is great in that amp. When want more headroom than that, the EH kt88 is where I would turn to for the 6550 flavor.

    Guitar!

    I like the ESP's and higher model number LTDs for what its is worth. Horizons, MII. neck-thru's for upper fret access. The dig the MII style with the reverse headstock the most.

    I am going to order the WGS version of the BL 80 for my rm50C. Last year, I put in a retro 30. I like the retro 30 (similar theme to the vintage 30), but by itself seems to be mid heavy in the combo alone. I know that X pattern of the Vintage 30 with the G12T-75 sound good. I and wondering...

    RM50 Bias Pot is SO touchy

    I find that my rm50c bias pot is touchy as well. I am able able to still dial it by first getting it close and use just slight pressure on on the screw driver to hone in the values. I am going to check that resistor on mine when I get a chance as well.

    I just swapped out the G1275 with a WGS Retro 30 in my RM50. Nice versitile speaker in the combo so far. G12-75 - razor sharp sizzle with a boomy low mid end. ?After a bit of playing, my ears fatigue with the ice pick type sound on the sizzling highs. ?One trick pony? ?The one trick it does...
