    SacredGroove Bogner fever

They're special modules, for sure. Converting yours to the LE wouldn't be too hard either. :D

No upgrades, per se. I reconfigured the Boost to a 3-way, Tight/Loose switch. Mike wanted more versatility regarding the low end for his recording purposes. In hindsight, this feature is something I probably should've may standard because it presents more options for each channel. :D

    SacredGroove Bogner fever

Well, I can't take credit for the features on the EcstasyLE because they're all features found on a real Bogner Ecstasy amp. It's probably my favorite amp, so I tried to compliment it with as many real features as possible. This version has a 3-way tight switch that gradually increases low end...

    SacredGroove Bogner fever

Hey Kev, I edited the OP with descriptions of the features. Structure is actually a cut in gain, when disengaged. The drop in gain isn't drastic, but definitely noticeable. Standard gain is Structure engaged, and not considered a boost. The real Ecstasy amp has a boost feature in addition...

    SacredGroove Bogner fever

Thanks guys. I'm sure clips will be made by both, Mike and Ray. I'm interested to hear what they come up with. I actually have quite a few of these Ecstasy/XTC mods around the world. I never did any kind of reveal for it, but my customers were familiar with my original version and ended up...

I've been working on finishing up the work I still have around. These pics are CrankyRays Fisch and Mike Ps Ecstasy. The flash really makes the faceplates come alive, otherwise they're not normally that sparkly... :D Fisch features both Strato and Brown channels, Tight (2-way), Shift (mid...

    Voodoo UG Jose... anyone?

The Tsunami, and Mark are actually looking better in person. I'm about to trim and seal them up. :D

    FS: RM100M - SOLD

If I had the cash, it wouldn't have lasted this long.

RM 4 & DI box & Speaker simulator

Indeed! It's great piece! 8) If memory serves correctly, the MicroCab II moved the power supply inside the chassis to eliminate the huge wall wart, and it also added a speaker level pass-thru, so a speaker or load-box NEEDS to be used.

RM 4 & DI box & Speaker simulator

If you're a plug'n play type of person, the ADA MicroCab should do you fine. If you're a tweaker type of person, then I suggest using Impulse Responses with your DAW. I use RedWirez IRs, and couldn't be happier. You can buy one speaker cab at a time or as many as you want, and with every...

    Heaven & Hell Xmas

I haven't heard that album, but I liked that version of Sabbath. I meant to go see them on multiple occasions and something else always came up so I never saw them. Dammit! :x Cheers!

    Raplacement knobs that fit

Yes, those knobs will fit. They're push on so no need for set screw. They're made for knurled split shaft pots.

    Treble and Bright caps

Try the 22uF at C7, and leave C13 empty. The 22uF might not be so overwhelming to you there. 2.2uF is a good choice too at C13. R7 should be right above the bright switch. C2 isn't active until the Bright switch is engaged. If you used the one from the tube board it may be a different...

Stock Blackface Twin w/SG Faceplate & Knobs - $140 mint!

FWIW, I had this very module in my possession for awhile and it never had an issue. This module is also stock, and not modified.

    Treble and Bright caps

Which module are you working on, Plexi or SL+? Are you still going for the cranked Plexi tone?

    Nice! Glad it worked out.

WTB: Speaker Cables, Insert Cables, Patch Cables

Crap! I forgot about this. I'll check out my stuff today/tonight.

    Treble and Bright caps

Thanks...LOL. It's not like I've been condemned from MTS. I just need a serious break and reassess what I'm doing, so it doesn't effect family as much as it did. R16, R22, C6, C8, C12 are all part of stage two, which is bypassed, like you mentioned. Leave C2, but remove R8. C2 is more like...

    Treble and Bright caps

Could you send me a gut shot? I believe the Judge has a newer pcb and I don't want to get into specific parts locations without knowing what their actually labeled on the board. [email protected]
  20. SacredGroove

    Treble and Bright caps

Yes, but on a standard Plexi there are only two tubes and all stages are used, whereas the MTS has three tubes and two stages are bypassed: one on the input tube and one on V1 of the module. C3 is the coupling cap from the first stage, which is in the preamp/head. I'm really tired, so I hope...
