Module Fit Issue - A Must Read!

...and this is just 1 example of why US Music needs to realize the importance of good advertising.

Module Fit Issue - A Must Read!

My amp is a Lynch Box. I just loosened all 7 screws and then retightned them snugly but I didn't crank down on them. I managed to get it to go in. It was a TIGHT fit. I think the tracks already being dug into from where I tried before helped. The board is just cut too wide and you can see...

Module Fit Issue - A Must Read!

I agree - mine is actually 1 of the 1st 50 when you think about it. Washburn/US Music also needs to do a much better job promoting the guitar. I only found out the model existed by looking under X series on the Washburn web site. They need to do magazine adds for it in Guitar world, Guitar...

Module Fit Issue - A Must Read!

***WAIT WAIT WAIT*** Mine is the #6/25 of the Natural Finish. That one is #6/25 of the Trans Red finish. They did a first run for both finish options. I didn't know this until I saw that 1 few days ago and called Washburn.

Module Fit Issue - A Must Read!

I love it. I've owned a lot of guitars (Jem, JS1000, PRS Custom 24, Les Paul Standard to name a few) and that is my favorite. I threw a set of Schaller strap locks on it and other than that I don't see the need for any mods.

    XTC Vs Treadplate

Has anyone played an XTC side by side with a Treadplate? If so, what did you think? I have an XTC which I love but I am curious about the Treadplate. I wonder if there is a huge differance. I know the XTC is the Bogner Esctasy and the Treadplate is the Mesa Dual Rectifier. I've never...

Module Fit Issue - A Must Read!

I purchased a new Plexi module on line for my Lynch box and when I received it I ran into an issue. It wouldn't fit! The green electrical board (not sure of the technical name) was too big and the module would only go 1/2 way in. So, I called Randall and was about to play the "voicemail game"...

Good settings for a XTC module? PLEASE HELP

First off, I let my Lynch Box warm up for about 10 minutes before I play. I find that makes a noticeable differance - and it's better for the amp. If you are practicing or just just playing alone and want/need to keep it at low volumes most of the time like me (I live in a condo), I suggest...

    Lynch Cab - Speaker Issue

I know the local guitar shop where I bought my Lynch Box head & cab just got another one in and one of the speakers in the cab has an issue and they are calling for a replacement speaker on Monday.

Lynch Box Series Loop with Boss DD-3 - The Milks Gone Bad!

I played around some more and found that if I had the gain turned down (like no higher than 9 o clock) - it was clear. I also read in the DD-3 manual that high frequency input signals cause the effect to be muddy. I'm far from an expert on the inner working of an effect loops work but it could...

Lynch Box Series Loop with Boss DD-3 - The Milks Gone Bad!

Only as an effects loop test, I just tried running my 95Q Wah through the effects loop and it was fine. I typically run it through the front because I think I get a better sound. However, I didn't get any muffled distortion like I was getting with the DD-3 Delay. I do know the DD-3 issue was...

Lynch Box Series Loop with Boss DD-3 - The Milks Gone Bad!

Well the only effects I use are a Crybaby 95Q Wah and the DD-3 Delay. So I'm just gonna keep it simple and run the delay through the front. I bought an offset effects coupler and when I use it to connect the wah with the delay, I find that the weight of the wah keeps the delay from moving...

Lynch Box Series Loop with Boss DD-3 - The Milks Gone Bad!

I've done some further reading on the forum and I saw that some other guys have had similar results using the DD-3 through their effects loops on their Randall MTS Amps.

Lynch Box Series Loop with Boss DD-3 - The Milks Gone Bad!

Oh Charlie Murphy I can't belive this! So, I'm gonna share it. I have a new Lynch Box and I was trying a new Boss DD-3 Digital Delay through both effect loops. To be blunt - the both loop sounds like hell. The effect I did get was very muffled and very distorted using both the Blackface and...

Running out of patience and having doubts

So I ordered my Lynch Box and Cab w/ Super V, XTC, and 1086 modules 2 weeks ago. I was told it would show up in a week. So far all I've got is the XTC module. What really sucks is that I've sold my other amp to help pay for this one and now I'm stuck with just playing through Guitar Rig 2 on...

Images of the new EVH amps

I've heard rumors about him coming out with his own line of guitar amp since shortly after he left Peavey but this is the first time I've seen anything that may confirm it.

    Dinged my new baby

Dings -I know they happen to almost every player's guitar out there - but the 1st one still stings a bit. I just got my Peavey HP Special CT (Black) a week and a half ago and it received its first ding today. I LOVE the guitar. Peavey took the Wolfgang after Sir Ed departed and made some...

    hooking up efx peddles

Ironically enough - I actually called Randall Tech Support before I even saw this blog. I recently bought a Lynch Box and was confused as far as the Series and Parallel Effects Loops and which one to run my Boss DD-3 Delay through (My only other pedals are a Boss TU-2 Tuner and Cry Baby 95Q Wah...

Module set up for my new Lynch Box

I just ordered a new Lynch Box and cab yesterday. I wanted to share what I chose for my first 3 modules to get your opinions to see if I made the right decisions. I know there is a "to each his own" factor, but I'm just hoping my decisions were not completely off. The local guitar shop just...
