I have a blackface module that's laying around an isn't in use. Would any of the moders be able to mod the blackface so it will make any electric guitar sound like an acoustic guitar?

I would be interested to know also. I think it is something easier to do in digital fx than in analog, i think it might involve a bit of pitch shifting.

There are many acoustic simulators...I believe they just enhance frequencies that are naturally occurring in acoustics...Perhaps they use a notch filter too...Neither of these would be practical to put in a module...You'd be better off buying a BOSS Acoustic Sim pedal...Just my .02 ...

I agree with Matt.

The truth is that acoustic simulators don't really work that well. They certainly make the electric guitar sound different, and the sound has something in common with an acoustic guitar sound, but they aren't that good. I have a Ghost piezo system on one of my guitars, and even though it's cool, it doesn't sound like an acoustic.

It's just really difficult to get a solidbody electric to sound like a hollowed out dreadnaught.
