Hey,

Anyone heard the new a7x cd? That guitar tone is just fucking awesome. I mean listen to Almost Easy or Critical Acclaim.

Just a question, what module comes close to this tone? I already have the Brown, XTC and Recto. The XTC comes pretty friggin' close, imo. but who has got more suggestions?

Going from Critical Acclaim on the MS page I'd say the Recto. I think that the Grail is also has a rectified tone to it (I've never played one, just going by other peeps). So a Grail could do the trick, but to me Critical Acclaim is definitely a rectifier of some kind.

Mesa Dual/triple rectifers

Hey Yeah the recto does come pretty close (with cap mod). Does anyone else have any suggestions (Maybe a signature module?). My bro has the 1086 but i don't think it's sounds the same as the a7x's tone.
