Biasing Tubes For someone who knows nothing about it

I am going to try and put new tubes in my RM100 the tubes is had in it were 6l6gc's and thats what im going to put back in it.. if i am using the same tubes do i have to change anything and what is biasing and is it something that is always neccessary and is it something i can do myself? i would really like to do it myself and ovoid the fees at the guitar store...
any help would be greatly appreciated.
