can a stock SL+ do EVH ??

Sounded great but not that EVH to me.. you can mask the tone a bit with phasing and verb but the module itself is to gainy and not raw enough. This is what I find with my SL+ anyway. For this type of tone I prefer the Judge.

I remember when Guitar World reviewed the MTS stuff, the reviewer said he liked the SL+ for EVH tones.

for a "stock" module IMO it sounds pretty close to VH1 / VHII era

granted it needs some tweaks here and there

Silver plate SL+ definately gets you closer than the black plate/JCM800 SL+. It sounded ok in the video.
