I wish Legacy amps were cheap and available where I live. I'd love to have the new version three but the only one I can find is over 2000 miles away and I would need to spend the equivalent to buy it. I get so stoked when you guys take the time to send stuff to me just because we get so shredded on the price of things in Oz
I'm a huge Vai fan so if a modulised version of his amp popped up I'd be all over it.

Ross: I am really not an expert on the history of the line or why the versions were made. I am sure there are better resources out there that know far more about him than I do. I certainly appreciate what he does though.

I am in the process of securing an original VL100 head this week and will mark this as a project for my return from LA and once I get some of the volume cranked out of the shop.

While you are at it good sir - give us a X100B mod, the early high gain one :)

With a graphic EQ gets extra points!!!

Salvation mods has announced on its facebook page that a module based on Carvin Legacy amplifier (lead channel) will be soon available.

Great news

I would love to try out Anthony's version of the Legacy. However, I must admit that the idea of sending a donor to Europe, paying for the shipping to Europe waiting for the module and then having it shipped back isn't for me. I am not a patient person and am totally into instant gratification. Maybe Anthony could set up a shop here?

Ungh... How ironic is the timing for this considering the sticker silliness about copying mods?

I curious about this mod idea, but while I like Vai, I've not jonesed for his "tone" so much? But I've heard the amp is cool, so hearing what it can do will be cool.

Once you try one of his mods, you'll see why a little extra wait is worth it.

He also has donor mods in stock to help speed up process.

It was maybe ironic with the timing on this, but nothing was meant by it. I am just saying that I hate to wait. I am sure his mods are cool. I just wish he was in the states.
