Deluxe module question

I just got an used DLX module.
It was very clean and in good shape.
I found couple of orange drop caps in the PCB.
Did Randall put any Orange drop caps in the modules?

It sounds ok, but I never tried real Fender Deluxe amp, though.

One problem is the gain pot.
Volume is very low until I crank up the gain till 2 o'clock.
7 to noon, I can hardly hear the sound.

Gain pot value is 1M.
Shouldn't it be 500k according to module spreadsheet?

No, it has 'A1M'.

Volume(level) pot is 'A500k'

I'll try A500k once I get it.

You will lose volume with a 500k pot. I would use a 1M pot for volume and make sure your gain is 1M also, if not already.

I tried A500k and A1M.

Still the same problem.
Volume(level knob) is very weak with the gain until noon.
