I just emailed Anthony at Salvation about this to see if he can do it. I am also thinking about emailing Rob at Jaded faith.

Basically an Einstein channel one has three modes with shared controls, and tubes.

Mode 1 - clean (quite a nice one at that)
Mode 2 - crunch (sleeper channel on these amps)
Mode 3 - mega (typical Diezel high gain)

It was one of my all time favorite amps. Channel two is a bit higher gain than channel one mega. All of that in one module with a 3 way switch would be awesome!!!!!

Who else would be interested in one?? Is there anyone else I should email to see if they can make one?? Lets generate some demand, and see if someone will make it as a standard mod...Just imagine this in an RM20 combo as the ideal recording setup!!!!!

To me Robs XMG is very diezel-ish. More like a Herbert I played once forever ago. I'm sure rob could do it for sure and Anthony does already have a diezal mod.... I'd be interested if that could all be crammed into a module.

There's something to be said for making 1 awesome voice for the module. I love toggles just as much as anyone, but to expect 3 seperate channels to be valid on 1 module is unrealistic. You may get 2 with other option switches, but from what I can tell a true clean channel has a totally different approach

The Salvation Benzin is based on the VH4,I want one at some point, you just dont see them used much...so,Im sure Anthony could do one.......dont know how different that on is than this one in particular...I played one once and it sounded good, but not good enough to command that price.....of course,I havent heard any amp that would make me want to throw down $3-5000....that's why I like the mts stuff so much....super versatile and the quality of the tones are as good or better than the actual amps they emulate in my experience....matter of fact there were som eclips of the Salvation XTC comparing it to the real xtc and the module sounded better....same with the Framus Cobra and mamba...both soundd like teh real amps but much cleaner....

I picked the einstein because I used to have one, and I know that all three modes in channel one share a lot of circuitry. I am not sure how much circuitry is changed with that switch. There might be relays like crazy for all I know. My backup plan is to get a Benzin, but I am curious to see if it can be done. That would imo be a bit of a game changer as far as go to module for RM20 owners.

Sounds like one cool mod. I don't think a 3 mode module would be bard to do. Modders are doing this already. Seems a switch for clean/gain and then a boost switch would do the trick. I'm game for backing a diezel from a U.S builder.

I sent it to Salvation first since he already has a Diezel module, so it would probably be the least amount of additional work.

Anthony got back to me to let me know that he can do this on a custom version of a Benzin, but it will have two switchs, and clean/dirty, and crunch/mega. I think this will work even better than one three way switch!!!!

Now I might have to flip my mash-oldano I just got before I get too attached to it. This is going to be my ultimate module!!!!!!!!

Here is what I am thinking about for names of controlls

Since the Einstein is names after Peter Diezel's dog I would get a custom faceplate similar to the Benzin, but the name would be the Benzin Koda (after my dog)

crunch mega switch labled bark/growl

I am looking for ideas for a name for the clean/dirty switch. Anyone have any ideas??

Mid range could be pooper scoop.

I am thinking

BARK / GROWL for clean/crunch
and
FENRIR / CERBERUS for crunch/mega

Fenrir - From Norse mythology the wolf that killed Odin
Cerberus - From Greek, and Roman mythology is the 3 headed wolf like beast that gaurds the gate to the underworld

Im sure one of the US modders would take it on if you wrote and asked....
Salva too if more people probably want it ;)

I'll relay it to Anthony. I do wonder how complicated the switching it though, to achieve such an array of tones.
On the other hand ... Stonerverb ;)

Joris, it sounds like he's already contacted Anthony about this module and Anthony is taking it on. Sounds like it's going to be a really cool upgrade to the Benzin he already does. I'm really curious how it turns out!

Ah shizzle, missed that sorry.
Got confused by the US modder comments. ;)

Yes Anthony said it is possible. I am just working out the details, then mondy will be sent. I am very excited about this mod since my Einstein was my favorite amp I ever owned, and I almost never used channel 2.

I sold the Einstein because I couldn't justify a $2500 amp for what I do. But having the three core sounds from that amp in combination with my SG XTC's four sounds that should be a killer setup!!!

It is happening. I will hopefully be posting a pic of the faceplate design, and module name. I am just waiting for the thumbs up for posting details, but this module will do clean, crunch, and mega modes making it imo the ultimate module for an RM20.

For those not too familiar with the Einstein.

Channel 1 is used up til about 2:50 in this vid, all three modes are used.
