So after a while working on this..
I got a Replifex: which I like
and a TSR24s..which I liked till it stopped working 5minutes in.
Noboday seems to repair it...but IT DOES have the crossfade ability and it doesnt kill my tone.
So I need a TSR24s or a repair guy to fix mine (its in NY). I looked on ebay and havent seen any lately.
Any help appreciatted,
GtrGeorge

...The TSR24s is really good for me..but they seem plagued with trouble. Mine died, and I havent found a guy who can fix it on Long Island.
I am using 2 Replifexes, which is cool..but Id rather have a TSR24s in one of those slots. Anyone wanna trade?
Any help appreciatted. Thank you.

Its been about a month, and I have been working in my sound alot in that time. Things I realized:
1) Noone can repair my TSR24S at a price thats reasonable (they sell for $125ish used..the repair would exceed that. Problem is: they dont come up for sale often. And if you buy one and it dies..youre outta luck.
2) One of my Replifex doesnt workl properly. The one I bought off ebay has issues. I didnt discover this till after a month after I bought it. Somebody "fixed" this unit and didnt do it right. After 30min ir so,,,it will cut out, or reboot. I dont think I have any redress to go after the seller from ebay, at this point. next time, I will inspect eveything from ebay (the insides of a circuit, too!!!) the moment it comes thru my door.
3) My Gx700s (I have 2) are cool units but I have become a tone snob and cant live with em anymore. They are not compatible with my current rig. If I had lesser ears it wouldnt be an issue...but I live for my sound.

So I am looking into a Rocktron Xpression to replace the ailing Replifex. I saw one used for $250 locally. I would rather have a smaller setup that sounds good, but I dont think thats offerred at any price..right now.
Any suggestions/advice welcome.

..I am seriously considering a Gmajor.
Why?
because despite some reservations..I need some good reverb and I need good chorusing.
I play in stereo and am the only guitarist in this 4 piece band. So my tone carries the songs, quite literally.
I cant seem to find a TSR24s..which I wouldbe liked ALOT.
I bought a second replifex ..but the reverb is limited and the chorusing doesnt do it for me. Its ok..but not the kind I want.
So long as the Gmajor doesnt suck tone..I am trying to get one at a decent price. If I get one with a crappy pot encoder Im gonna ram it up the nose of the TC representative.
..with Love...
