Does A G3 plus 150 watt sound good for metal?

Hey, I play shred and I need a new head soon and I am wondering if the G3 has that thick searing lead tone [similar to the XTC module in the MTS amps].

if your talking about the RH150 G3 then yes, yes it is good for metal,

only thing though is that sometimes - depending on where you live - they come with a dud tube that gives s**t all gain. just replace the tube with something like a 12AX7 and itll be sweet, make sure that the tube you get isnt too powerfull though otherwise it can short circuit.
