Ebtech hook up?

I am having problems hooking up my delay dd 3 pedal and Ebtech into the series loop...anybody knows how it should be?

no matter how a hook it up it sounds bad!!

Loop Send --> Ebtech IN/OUT --> DD3 IN/OUT --> Loop Return.

Try that. The signal has to be adjusted before the input of the pedal for it to operate correctly. No adjustment should be necessary for the output.
