Dunno,...I think the Sig:X is a great amp....if it suits the playing style/tones you're going for...then why not?

I'm starting to think that I've turned the corner from gear whore into actually wanting to improve my playing....heck I might even sell more modules

I really love the mts concept. When I first bought everything I thought that if I wanted a new amp, all I'd have to do is buy a preamp module. But it wasn't like that. There were only certain modules that I could buy, and then there was getting them modded, but that was too much money for me. If it was 50 bucks a module and randall just pumped out as many different mods as there were amps, it would be one thing. For me at least, there was a lack of mods coming out and modded modules were too expensive for me.

Maybe sometime down the road if I can find a RM22 and prices are cheap, I might be lured back.

I played the Sig:X at a studio a little while back and was blown away. It got all the sounds I wanted out of my MTS, but felt less compress and more natural. I like hi gain, but I want it to sound very unsaturated and natural (the opposite of ENGL's).

I actually went to the studio looking to replace my 5153, but the Sig:x got me all the tones that didn't- and with all the cheap 20 watters coming out now, If I really need a different tone, I could always get a used one of those.

Actually, Just got the Sig: x and don't dig it at all. I'm going to end up re buying a RM100, but the head this time and getting some modded modules. I'm thinking the Soldano, Marsh-all, and lonestar.
